She's covered in soft, short fur and has markings similar to an Earth Caracal cat. Influenced by the humans of Earth where she grew up, she grows her hair/mane long enough to hang at about her shoulders, and she keeps it tied back in a ponytail. Like many Caitians, she has a long tail that helps aid in balance and agility when called for. Due to the differences in foot structure, she tends to go barefoot, even in uniform, unless the occasion or mission calls for footwear as a necessity. |

She likes to challenge her mind, trying to think outside the norm in order to make improvements. |

WEAKNESSES- tendency to just 'do it herself', dislike of delegation. stubborn - the dogged determination can become an irritating stubbornness at times. tendency to hyper focus -can be great when trying to get a job done, can be irritating when other things need to get done. |

Like most of her race, she has an appreciation for beauty, finding it in even the most mundane of things, and she wants to see as much beauty in the galaxy as possible, whether that be far off star systems, or wonderful new technology, she wants to lay eyes on it. | |

What does your character have a passion for that may led to an activity?) | Her desire to learn and knowledge-seeking mind have prompted her to dabble in various subjects, from classical mechanics to the Klingon language, and she flits between hobbies and interests frequently. Her most longstanding interests include physical activities such as swimming and rock climbing, as well as archery and a dance style she picked up growing up on Earth - Argentine Tango. She enjoys music, art, and reading just as well, though. |

At what age did they start Starfleet Academy if they did?) | R'naya grew up on Earth, a child of an ambassador's assistant and an art teacher. She attended all of her school years in a small, private school near the family home in Oregon. When she wasn't in school, she was outside in nature, enjoying the rugged beauty of the area, either hiking, rock climbing or on a river or the ocean with her handful of close friends, most of them human. Once she was old enough to travel on her own for extended periods, she spent time all over earth and ventured to the various bases in the system, as well. She watched her brother enter Starfleet, and decided pretty early on that she wanted to follow in his footsteps. She always had a gift for puzzle-solving, and applied it to engineering. At the relatively young age of twenty, she joined Starfleet with a goal of becoming an engineer. |
